Why you should catch Goodra

Goodra is one of the goofiest and most fun Pokemon to use in Cobblemon! Not only that, but it is a powerful attacker and a strong edition to any Cobblemon team.

The easiest way to catch a goomy is to hunt the hisuian form. When fishing with a lure level of 2 or above in dripstone or lush cave biomes, Hisuian Goomy is a common spawn, making it relatively easy to obtain.

If you want a normal goomy then the best strategy for catching one is to hunt in slime chunks within swamp biomes

You can use a website like chunkbase to check where slime chunks allign with swamp biomes in your world. If you don't want to worry about slime chunks, then you can just hunt in any swamp biome and you can still find Goomy it will just be a little more difficult. I highly recommend using the pokenav mod to make sure you are searching in the right place

Once you've found the area you want to search in, the greatest challenge to catching Goomy will probably be boredom. Patience will be the key to finding a Goomy and as such I have found it's much easier to hunt for Goomy when you are doing something else at the same time. I recommend training your Pokemon, mining for resources, or building a cool structure in your world. These tasks will help you to not get bored and give up the hunt as you wait for a Goomy to spawn.

My favorite structure to build in biomes while I'm hunting for rare Pokemon like Goomy is a Pokemon Center. It helps the world come alive and feel more like a true Pokemon game. Evolving Goomy to Goodra

Goomy evolves into Sliggoo at level 40, and then into Goodra at level 50 but only when it's raining.

You can use experience shares to help raise your goomy's level more easily. Plains and snowy biomes are the best places to train if you want to level up your Pokemon quickly. I recommend targeting high-level common pokemon like Tauros and Wyrdeer.
