Catching Jangmo-o: Top Tips

Jangmo-o can be one of the harder Pseudo-legendaries to find in Cobblemon, so prepare yourself for a good hunt.

I would highly recommend searching for Jangmo-o in a tropical island biome as that will give you the best spawn rate. However if you also want to find other rare pokemon like Bulbasaur at the same time, then a Jungle biome is still a great option.

I strongly recommend that you use the Pokenav mod when searching for Jangmo-o as this will help you make sure you aren't wasting time in an area where Jangmo-o can't actually spawn.

Once you've picked the biome you want to search in, the greatest challenge to catching Jangmo-o is probably boredom. Patience will be the key to catching a Jangmo-o and as such I have found it's much easier to hunt for Jangmo-o when you are doing something else at the same time. I recommend training your Pokemon, mining for resources, or building a cool structure in your world. These tasks will help you to not get bored and quit the hunt as you wait for a Jangmo-o to spawn.

My favorite structure to build in biomes while I'm hunting for rare Pokemon like Gible is a Pokemon Center. It helps the world come alive and feel more like a true Pokemon game. Evolving Jangmo-o to Kommo-o

Jangmo-o evolves into Hakamo-o at level 35, and then into Kommo-o at level 45.

You can use experience shares to help raise your jangmo-o's level more easily. Plains and snowy biomes are the best places to train if you want to level up your Pokemon quickly. I recommend targeting high-level common pokemon like Tauros and Wyrdeer.
